Color Challenge: Purple

"Purple combines the calm stability of blue and the fierce energy of red. The color purple is often associated with royalty, nobility, luxury, power, and ambition. Purple also represents meanings of wealth, extravagance, creativity, wisdom, dignity, grandeur, devotion, peace, pride, mystery, independence, and magic."

I adore how feminine and delicate lavender is, & in my book lavender is equivalent to purple, so here we are. This living room was created keeping light colored fixtures and adornments in mind. If I were to have a movie night on a big comfy couch with my girlfriends, this is where I would want to do it.
